From the Principal

With summer finally making an appearance we have joyfully celebrated a number of our end of year events with more to come.  Thank you to the staff who have coordinated and contributed to the success of these events.

I would like to thank you as parents for sharing your children with us.  Each day we are blessed by them and enjoy the opportunity to walk alongside them in their social, emotional and academic learning.  While we all have our ups and downs in life and relationships, I thank you for your part in the partnerships that continue to be developed across the school.

Thank you to those who have shared about our school with families who are yet to hear about Good Shepherd.  Word of mouth is high on the list of how families are hearing about the school.  For this I am grateful.

You may have noticed that the fence around the playground has been removed and our Stage 4’s will have the privilege of using the space Friday, with Stage 3’s on Monday, and Stage 2 and 1 on Tuesday.  What a blessing this space will be!

2026

Mrs Bethany Kluge will be moving into the Learning Enrichment space for 2026.  We are currently advertising for a Stage 2 teacher to lead her class. Parents of these children will be informed of the successful applicant when we can.  Mrs Kluge will remain with the class for Move Up Morning.

We also thank Mr Matt Modra for his service to the school community as a board member over the past 9 years. He has been instrumental in the organisation of the Dad’s nights and Men n Minors camp.  His passion, work ethic and laugh will be missed around the community.  Thank you Matt.

As we prepare for our last few days at school, I pray that this Christmas season you are able to hear about and see the love of Jesus Christ around you.

Blessings

Evie
