Ignite Our Young People’s Passion for Reading this Christmas Holiday

Reading is one of the most valuable gifts we can give our young people, shaping not only their learning but also their imagination and confidence. When young people fall in love with reading, they discover whole new worlds. 

With the Christmas holidays fast approaching, we encourage families to take advantage of the break by making reading a fun and regular part of home life. Holidays offer the perfect opportunity for our young people to relax with a good book, explore new stories, or revisit old favourites without the rush of the school week. Even a short daily reading routine—whether it’s a quiet moment before bed, a trip to the local library, or reading together as a family—can help keep skills sharp and foster a genuine love of books.
