Staffing Update

As we come to the close of another amazing school year, I also want to acknowledge the work of our staff who are leaving MPRPS.

  • Kaine Jenkins, who has worked with us for a number of years as a CRT, tutor, in PE, and most recently as a member of the 1/2 team. He brought his passion for music into the classroom and could always be relied on to accompany us in Assemblies.
  • Lauren Tillotson, who has worked with us as a CRT and then as a member of our 3/4 teaching team for a number of years. She always brought her strong interest in student wellbeing into the classroom.
  • Emily Baker, who returned this year to MPRPS after a couple of years working at another primary school. It is always nice to welcome back a staff member who appreciates how we work at MPRPS and wants to be a part of that community again.
  • Treesje Butterworth, who has taught in our Kinder and school. Her passion for sport and physical education is only eclipsed by her genuine interest in every one of her students' success in PE.
  • We also say good bye to three wonderful Education Support staff that joined us this year and are moving onto new adventures for 2024, Leslie Clarke, Pam Spath and Elise Nordon.

As challenging as it is to say goodbye to staff who have become such an important part of our community, I know that you will join me in wishing them well. We hope that they carry with them their time at MPRPS and can use this to support them as they take on new challenges here and overseas.
