Welcome to the Library for 2024 

Welcome to another great year for our Library.  Once again, every student will attend the library, for borrowing, on Monday. Each class will come to the library for a 20-minute session, in which they will borrow and have a story read to them.  

Please encourage your child to bring their own, labelled, library bag, and to return books weekly which will ensure they do not miss out on borrowing.   

All children may borrow 2 books each week.   

The library will be open every lunchtime throughout the week and children will be able to return and borrow at lunchtime also. 

Scholastic Bookclub  

Please consider purchasing children’s books from Bookclub.  With 2 issues each term, Bookclub offers newly published books as well as a wide variety of favourites at very competitive prices.

As an added bonus, each book purchased gives points to the library that allows us to receive many free books.  Over the year we have been able to add many new books to our collection.  

Karina does an amazing job organising and distributing Bookclub brochures and books and I would like to thank her for volunteering her time to do this job once again this year.  If you would like to help with this volunteering position, please come and see me in the library on a Monday or Tuesday to discuss. Many hands make light work.
