Leadership Centre

Highlight

It has been a fantastic week in 5/6 with our Year 6 leaders attending the Leadership Excursions. Some students went to the GRIP Leadership Excursion in the city on Monday and others attended Kerrimuir Primary School Leadership Day on Thursday. It was a great opportunity for the Year 6 students to explore what makes a good leader and to develop their own leadership skills. We are so excited to see what students achieve in their roles this year and how they can make a positive impact at MPRPS and beyond.

Reminders

  • Yr 3 and Yr 5 Families: NAPLAN Locked Down Browser DownloadIn preparation for the upcoming NAPLAN Assessments in Week 7 and 8, please ensure that your child/ren in Years 3 and 5 have downloaded the NAP Locked Down Browser 2024 from the App Store. If it is already on your child's iPad, please ensure that it is the most updated version with the 2024 logo shown below
  • In addition to this, we ask that all students have a set of headphones (and if they wish a keyboard) at school as they will need to use these for many of the NAPLAN assessments and learning activites throughout the year
  • Life Story Interviews: over the next two weeks 5/6s will choose one adult in their home or community to interview for their life story. This can be done by video or voice recording. We request that this task is completed at home no later than February 19, as we will be editing clips from the interview on February 20 during class time.
