We are learning to represent numbers in different ways.

VOCABULARY

Representing numbers: Finding multiple ways to demonstrate knowledge of a number. For example, you can do this by:

- drawing a picture

- Using manipulatives (physical objects, toys, counters, etc.)

- Written symbol

- Relevant situation (worded problem)

- Spoken language 

- On a number line

- number sentence 2+2=4
