House Swimming Carnivals

Our House Swimming Carnivals will be held at the Echuca War Memorial and Aquatic Centre on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 13 February - Brigidine Campus (Year 9-12)
  • Thursday 15 February - Kildare Campus (Year 7-8)

We expect all students to attend and participate in this school event in support of their House and school community. Community events such as these are a terrific way to develop community spirit, social cohesion skills, resilience and a feeling of belonging to our school.

Parents will be able to attend. There will be allocated seating for the day with catering and shade available. We ask that parents refrain from supplying take away lunch for their students so that we can support our BBQ which will be raising money for Caritas.

Students are not permitted to leave the pool surrounds during the carnival. Parents can provide permission for their student to depart directly from the pool via the google form (linked to the event on Compass). Students who do not have prior permission to depart from the pool will return to school on the bus.

Sports uniform and hats must be worn. Students may change into House coloured top/shorts on arrival at the pool.

Please note that the pool has requested that face paint, streamers, coloured hairspray or coloured zinc are not permitted.

If you have any questions regarding the House Swimming Carnival, please contact your child’s Learning Mentor.
