Just Macbeth by Andy Griffiths, Term 2 Instrumental/Vocal Lessons, Notice of Lesson Absence (Missed Lessons)

Just Macbeth by Andy Griffiths

Students are creating some entertaining theatrical moments in their workshopping of the script Just Macbeth by Andy Griffiths. Their enthusiastic commitment makes rehearsals a lot of fun. We are also excited to have our set in the theatre and ready for our visual artists to commence work on – we already have a team that have started the initial painting stages. The creativity and high-level skills being demonstrated by our students is to be commended. We are looking forward to performing for the College community in mid May.

Thank you Maker Change Creatives, a local company who has created the set for us.

Term 2 Instrumental/Vocal Lessons

In the next week you will receive invoices from our tutors for Term 2 Instrumental/Vocal Tuition. All fees are due on Tuesday, 26 March.

In accordance with our 2024 Music Handbook, once a student is enrolled for lessons they are automatically enrolled for selected lessons from term to term. In order to cease tuition without financial penalty, Arts Administration must receive a written request to withdraw from lessons by Friday Week 9 of the current term (in this case, Tuesday, 26 March).

Notice of Lesson Absence (Missed Lessons)

I would like to remind you of the importance of attending your instrumental lessons. As per the 2024 Music Handbook, it is the responsibility of the students to attend and be on time to each lesson with appropriate equipment (instrument, music books, practise journal). Students should make note of their lesson times in their College diary.

It is not the responsibility of the instrumental tutor or the administration staff to collect students from class if they have forgotten to attend their lesson. It is important for students to take responsibility and make sure they attend their lessons as scheduled.

In the event of a missed lesson, please refer to 'Notice of Lesson Absence (Missed Lessons)' in the  2024 Music Handbook.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Arts Administration.
