Stay Connected: Dive into the Excitement of Ongoing Reporting on Seesaw!

As we kick off the new school year, we're excited to introduce some different ways we will be using seesaw to communicate student learning and enhance the way for you to stay connected with your child's learning journey

As most parents will be aware by now Seesaw is a dynamic platform that empowers us to provide you with regular updates on your child's progress, achievements, and learning experiences in real-time. Through Seesaw, you'll have access to a variety of content, including photos, videos, and samples of your child's work, along with comments from teachers highlighting their growth and accomplishments.

Here's what you can expect from ongoing reporting on Seesaw:

Instant Updates: Stay informed about your child's learning experiences as they happen, allowing you to celebrate their successes and support their growth.

Engagement: Connect with your child's learning by viewing and discussing their work together, fostering meaningful conversations about their educational journey.

In addition to ongoing reporting, teachers will use Seesaw this year to share important information such as class agreements by the end of week 2 and curriculum updates (this is a change from last year when they were presented in our newsletter) ensuring that you are well-informed about classroom expectations and learning in the classroom.

We believe that ongoing reporting on Seesaw will strengthen our partnership with you and enhance your involvement in your child's education. We encourage you to download the Seesaw Family app if you haven’t done so (available for iOS and Android devices) to access and engage with your child's learning journey.

If you are a new parent to SKiPPS, teachers will send you instructions on Wednesday 7th February regarding how to access Seesaw, ensuring that you can stay connected with your child's learning journey right from the start.

To ensure that you receive updates and notifications, please turn on notifications and ensure you are regularly checking Seesaw. If you encounter any issues with accessing Seesaw or have questions about ongoing reporting, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher.
