In the next couple of weeks students will receive their Term 3 interim reports. The purpose of these reports is to provide information about the learning skills that your child demonstrates in the classroom. This includes skills such as personal organisation, work completion and remaining on task. Students and parents are encouraged to reflect on these interim reports and discuss areas for growth and improvement moving into term 4. With parent teacher interviews happening on the 17th of September, this will also be a great opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss the report and how your child is progressing in the classroom.
Parent teacher interviews will be held next Wednesday the 17th of September. Parents and carers will be able to soon book interviews with your child’s teachers. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers in person and ask any questions you may have about your child’s education. We hope to see you all there! If you are unable to make an appointment with your child’s teacher, you are always welcome to contact them via email, direct message (SEQTA) or via phone to gain further information about their progress.
Recently we celebrated the achievements of students for consistently demonstrating our college values. These students were awarded a canteen voucher each for receiving the highest number of values from their teachers over the past 5 weeks. Congratulations to Archie Stehn, Sarah Panter, Ethan Hill, Ryder Thannhauser, Alwin Ocubillo, Rocco Williams and Jia Wall for their achievements.
In Home Eco with Mrs O’Connor students have been learning to develop their technology skills by using the stove top to sauté onion and fry mince and spices. To show these skills, 7E made Tacos!
