Our Stage 3 students have been busy crafting postcards, letters, and newspaper reports while studying their units ‘August and Jones’ and ‘Fake News’. Here’s a showcase of their published work—creative, thoughtful, and full of student voice.
Students have been exploring coding through hands-on activities with Edison robots and Ozobots. Working in small teams, they’ve learned to problem-solve, program, and bring their robots to life through fun and challenging tasks.
Students have been developing their sketching skills, focusing on everyday objects like bottles, flowers in a vase, and chip packets. They’ve explored shading, proportion, and detail to bring their drawings to life.
Stage 3 enjoyed a memorable day at Western Sydney Parklands as part of the Bringing Back the Bush program. Students planted native trees, learned about First Nations culture, and took part in a range of outdoor activities that deepened their connection to Country and the environment. We are grateful to the Education team at Greater Sydney Parklands for generously covering the cost of this enriching excursion.
The Book Character Parade was a highlight of Book Week! Stage 3 students came dressed as their favourite book characters, celebrating a love of reading with creativity and colour.
