LIBRARY NEWS

Kindergarten has had an exciting term in the library, learning all about Digital Technologies. Students have been exploring how to use devices safely, and creatively. They have enjoyed hands-on activities, as well as working collaboratively with their peers.
Book Week Parade
Despite the rainy weather, our Book Week Parade was truly a highlight of the term and a joyful celebration of reading. It was wonderful to see the children’s excitement as they proudly showcased their creative costumes, inspired by their favourite books and characters. A special mention goes to our Stage 3 students, who enjoyed their final Book Week Parade in primary school — a memorable milestone that we were thrilled to share with them. Thank you to all our families for the time, effort, and enthusiasm you put into supporting your children; your involvement made this event such a special and unforgettable experience for our school community.
Premier's Reading Challenge
Our display of star readers who have completed the challenge is growing bigger every week, and it is so inspiring to see the dedication and enthusiasm our students have shown towards reading. The Premier’s Reading Challenge will close on September 19, so there’s still time for students in Years 3–6 to log their 20 books online and earn their 2025 PRC Certificate. Let’s finish the challenge strong! If you need any assistance with entering books, please drop by the library. We are always happy to help celebrate your reading success.
