Chin Parent Dinner

On Thursday 28 August, we held the second of our Chin Parent Dinners for 2025.
These dinners are a new initiative to extend welcome and hospitality to our Chin families but are also educational as we seek to communicate principles of Christian Education and present topics relevant to strengthening partnership. We enjoyed a delicious meal together before moving into the workshop session around 'Parenting in 2025 and beyond'. Jenifer and Lily did a wonderful job of interpreting on the evening.
This session continued to build on Michelle's presentation in Term 2 of the 3 legged stool approach to Christian Education (the necessary home - school - church partnership in 'raising up' a child). We had a focus on 'home' in this session and invited Danny Gamble (Head of Primary Wellbeing) to speak on the topic of Parenting. The night was engaging and well attended by families.
We look forward to continuing these nights into the future to help promote engagement, understanding and strengthening of partnership and understanding between school and our Chin parents.
