From the Principal’s Desk

While Mrs Rouda is enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Thailand, the teachers and students have had a very busy week, with much more to look forward to in the last two weeks of term.  Here are some of the highlights and events to look forward to.

Swimming Program

Our first week of the swimming program has kicked off smoothly. It’s wonderful to see students building confidence in the water, learning new skills, and having fun with their classmates. Thanks to all the parents that have offered their time to walk to and from the pool.

Father’s and Special Person’s Day

We hope all our dads and special people have a fantastic day on Sunday. Students really enjoyed choosing thoughtful gifts from the Father’s Day Stall, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our volunteers. A special thank you to Laura and Tanya for organising the stall and making it such a success. Our Prep students also loved celebrating with their dads at the “Donuts for Dads” morning. Well done to the Prep Teachers for organising such a great event.

District Athletics

Congratulations to the students who represented our school at the District Athletics. We are proud of your effort, determination, and sportsmanship. A big thank you to Mr. MacCartney for his time in training the team and organising such a successful day.

Shrek Production

Our whole school production of Shrek is just around the corner! Performances will be held on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th October in the first week of Term 4. To prepare, Cast 1 will have their dress rehearsal on Tuesday 7th October and Cast 2 on Wednesday 8th October. We can’t wait to see all the hard work and talent of our students come to life on stage. Make sure you have purchased your tickets as they are selling fast!

Fun Run

We are excited to be launching our Fun Run next week! Students will hear all about how they can get involved and how they can vote for teachers to be slimed as part of the fun. Stay tuned for more details.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
