Senior Hooptime Basketball

On Friday 22nd August, our school went to the Dandenong Basketball Stadium for the senior Hooptime basketball competition! There were 8 teams playing, split into All Star teams, Future Star teams, and Rookie teams. We played mini games with two 8-minute halves against other schools in our pools.

It was an amazing day full of fun and excitement! Everyone showed awesome sportsmanship and teamwork, which made the games really great to watch and play.

Our All Star Boys Green team came 1st in their pool and then played our own All Star Boys Yellow team in the semi-finals. It was a really close game, but the Green team won! Then they played in the grand final against Berwick PS. Even though they didn’t win, they played really well and made us proud.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the parents who helped coach and manage the teams. We couldn’t have done it without you! Also, a big shoutout to Mrs Carbone for all her hard work and organisation.

It was a fantastic day, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
