Our 2025 staff

With less than 3 weeks to go until the end of the year, we are excited to announce our 2025 teachers and support staff to the community.

As always at SKiPPS, staff turnover will remain very low next year with only a couple of new faces and a couple of farewells.

Teachers joining us at the start of next year will be Louisa Di Pietro and Dearne Sliskovic

Louisa lives locally in St Kilda and has lived in Melbourne for 10 years, having moved here from Fremantle, WA. She comes to us from St Agnes' Primary School in Highett, where she was Deputy Principal before heading on parental leave in Term 2 earlier this year. She enjoys swimming (pool and beach!), visiting family across Australia and in Italy, reading, studying Italian, and hanging out with her partner, Paolo and their baby, Sandy. Louisa loves teaching and is excited to step into the Year 3 classroom next year. 

Dearne (Dee) is returning to SKiPPS as our Italian Teacher in 2025. Dee worked at SKiPPS for a number of years as both a classroom teacher and as our Italian specialist before leaving to start a family of her own in 2019. Dee lives locally with her partner and son and, whilst she has been a regular visitor over the last few years as a replacement teacher, she is excited to be re-joining the staff properly next year.

We will be sad to say goodbye to four staff members as they move on to new schools for 2025.

• Emily Deague-Hall will be moving to Malvern Central Primary School next year.
• Roy Lee has taken on a role at Kew Primary School. 
• Lisa Richards will be teaching at St Kilda Primary School.
• Maria Kypriotis, who has worked at the school as an integration aide, will be moving to Glen Eira College.  

We would like to thank Emily, Roy, Lisa and Maria for their hard work at St Kilda Park and wish them well in their new roles.
