Student Council Final Update

Student Council has had a very busy and successful 2024. We are now finished for the year and want to give all our Student Council members a big thank you for all their efforts throughout this year. Their next and final big job will be to help introduce our new Student Council leaders for 2025.

Our year would not have been as successful as it was had it not been for the incredible support towards our fundraising and awareness days from our whole school community. So therefore an extra big thank you to our families who have got behind us this year to make it such a success.

Throughout 2024 we have recognized and celebrated so many special events that our students felt important to bring awareness to.

In Term 2 we celebrated Anzac Day, Do It for Dolly Day, Batten’s Awareness and ended the term with a PJ Day.

In Term 3 we celebrated Anti-Bullying Day, Footy Colours Day and our Book Week Parade.

As for Term 4, we celebrated Remembrance Day, the Christmas Parade and we visited the Children’s Ward at the Bendigo Hospital.

In Term 1, 2025, we will start the election process all over again. Each classroom from grades 2-6 will have a classroom representative. Get thinking now if this is something you would like to apply for. It is a big commitment for the year, but if you talk to some of our current members, they will all tell you that it’s worth it.

We look forward to whatever 2025 will bring and another amazing year ahead.

Mr Palmer and Miss Jones.
