They learned how to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and prepare meals safely and hygienically. From knife skills to mastering kitchen equipment, our students now have the confidence to prepare a variety of dishes at home.

Woodwork: Crafting Skills and Confidence

Our Year 7 students have successfully completed their Woodwork classes for the semester, marking the end of an exciting and hands-on learning experience. The program introduced students to the world of design, craftsmanship, and practical problem-solving, giving them a strong foundation in this essential life skill.

Throughout the semester, students learned to use a variety of tools and techniques, gaining confidence with equipment such as saws, clamps, files, and sandpaper. Safety was always a priority, as students developed an understanding of workshop procedures and the importance of working carefully and responsibly.
