Music Department Update

As we wrap up the year, I want to take a moment to congratulate all our music students on their incredible achievements. I am so proud of everything we have accomplished together, and I have been absolutely blown away by the growth in students musical skills in such a short amount of time.

Throughout this year, students have been building their abilities through Music Performance, Computer Music, Critical Listening, and Music Theory and Aural Skills. It has been fantastic to see their dedication, creativity, and passion shine in each of these areas, and I cannot wait to showcase this progress in 2025!

Remember, the benefits of music education are truly remarkable, helping students develop empathy and emotional resilience, coordination and fine motor skills, self-discipline and teamwork, self-expression and self-esteem, as well as language, reading, reasoning skills, and improved attention spans and focus.

On that note, we encourage all our students to keep up the practice throughout the break. Consistent effort makes all the difference, and I am so excited for what 2025 will bring.

Thank you for your continued support and here’s to another year of music-making and growth!
