To celebrate the Arts, Music, Drama and extra curricular programs here at Vermont, we are hosting our very first 'Vermont On Show'. All members of the College Community are welcome to come and enjoy some live Music and Theatrical performances, Art displays, Food Stalls and other festivities. The evening will commence at 5.00 pm and go through until 7.00pm. We encourage you all to come and along and be involved in what we hope will become an ongoing event for future years.
A team of students and staff have been crocheting squares to combine into large blankets for palliative care patients. The team has made an impressive 6 blankets this year and was proud to present these to Jo from Eastern Palliative Care, who will pass these onto patients who need comfort during this stage in their life. Thank you to our Year 12 leaders for their contribution to the club, and a special shout out to Yamuna, one of VSC’s Lab Technicians who contributed four beautiful blankets.
If you are interested in joining the lunchtime club, please message Ms Westmore or Ms Moraitis. Yarn donations (8ply) are always welcome, and if you can’t come to the club, you can bring finished squares to the Science office anytime. Squares should be 20cm x 20cm made with 4mm needles.
