Hanging Rock bike ride
On Thursday the 14th of November the 5/6s went on a bike ride to Hanging Rock and back. They left school and headed out for a 19 km ride there. They stopped at Hanging Rock for lunch. They had a great ride and teamwork and the helping of others shined through as everyone did their part of encouraging each other. They all had a lot of fun.
On the way back they rode another 19 km, everyone rode safely and followed all of the Bike Ed responsibly. Those who were at the front of the line of bike riders always stopped and slowed down so the others could have a chance at being at the front if they wanted. In the end everyone was very puffed and tired afterwards achieving one of their biggest rides with their friends laughing about their great adventure.
A big thanks to Mr O for organising the bike ride and for the Bike Ed sessions, also thanks to Rob, Matt, Tom, Damien, Anthony and Liz for their amazing help for our bike ride to go smoothly. And of course, a thank you to Miss Pitt staying at the back helping those struggling and Mr B for driving the minibus.
