Family Email Addresses

We ask families to ensure that the office has the correct and up-to-date email address for billing purposes.  Email is also the main form of communicating relevant information to our families. If you have not received your monthly Fee Statements it may mean we have an incorrect email address. Please check your junk folder or contact the office with up-to-date information.

Camps and Excursions Fund (CSEF) Payment

If you have a current Centrelink Health Care card, please drop this into the office so that we can apply to the Camps and Excursion Fund (CSEF) for a $150.00 payment per qualifying student. Amounts received go to reducing your school fees account balance. We are now closed for 2024 claims but please feel free to drop in cards to claim for 2025.

St Mel's on PAM

Well done to all of our existing families who have embraced PAM over the past two years. Nearly all of our families have at least one active logon, and many people have told us that it is great to be able to access all of their school information in one convenient app. PAM can be used to: update medical records, sign in for parent teacher interviews, advise student absences, give permission for excursions, download school reports and keep in touch with the events in our busy school calendar. Following is a set up guide for new families. If you need help with setup, a password reset or a refresher on how to use PAM,  please call into the office- we are always happy to assist.

School Fee Payment

We rely on your fee payments to provide for school expenses and to provide resources for our students- everything from our electricity bills to excursions and stationery are covered by these fees. Thanks to all those families who are on track with their payment plans.

We have found that families who proactively set up regular payments linked to their pay or Centrelink payment cycles have great success with fee payment. Please find the authority forms for these attached- they can be completed and emailed to us or dropped in at our office. Alternatively we can complete one in the office with you. Many other families are making EFT Payments or are paying at the school office. Our school bills contain our BSB and Account payment details to enable internet payments.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact our office at your earliest convenience to arrange an appointment with our Principal, Steve Hicks, to discuss your individual circumstances. We can help tailor a payment plan with your needs and financial situation in mind. Please also note, that from 2025, all families with qualifying Health Care Cards and Pension Cards will have an automatic fee reduction. Please see the information following.

 School Fees & Levies - 2025

Our School Fees & Levies for 2025 are as follows. In recognition of the financial restraints on our families, we have kept all price increases to a minimum, with most fees being unchanged overall and total fees increasing by no more than 1% over current fee levels. All fee structures have been approved by CES and communicated with our School Advisory Committee and School Consultative Committee.
