A Wonderful Year of Support and Growth

As we reflect on this incredible year, we feel so privileged to have worked alongside our families and community to provide unwavering support for our students. Together, we have made remarkable strides in creating an environment where every student can thrive and succeed.

A special thank you goes to our amazing Wellbeing and Inclusion team. Their tireless efforts and dedication have been vital in supporting both our school community and individual students. They continue to inspire us with their commitment to ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and valued.

This year has been filled with so many exciting and impactful initiatives. The 4Cs Presentation offered our students the opportunity to learn about Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity, essential skills for their future success. The Lamana Pasifika Groups were a vibrant addition to our community, celebrating the rich cultures and backgrounds of our Pasifika students. The Blue Edge Program helped empower our young people through personal growth, leadership, and teamwork. Our AYA Homework Club has also proven to be a crucial support system for students, providing them with the resources and guidance they need to succeed academically.

These are just a few of the many fantastic interventions and programs that have made this year special. We are incredibly proud of the progress our students have made, and none of this would be possible without the collaboration and commitment from all involved.

As we approach the end of the year, we want to wish everyone a well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming you all back in 2025, ready to continue our journey of growth and success together.

Thank you for your continued support. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!

16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign led annually by UN Women. It runs every year from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day).

During the 16 Days of Activism, communities around the world join the call to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls.

Students were recently invited to participate in a range of activities to recognise 16 Days of Activism, focusing on ‘respect’ and what this looks like in friendships, relationships and families.

If you or someone you know is experiencing violence or using violence, help is available.
