Jamie Daff

Last Friday night we said farewell to the Year 12 Class of 2024. I would again like to congratulate this class on the way they have conducted themselves during their VCE/VM journey. I would also like to thank everyone that has played a part in supporting this group during their schooling from Prep all the way to Year 12. I wish them all the best with their exam results and cannot wait to hear what they are all doing in the next adventure.

We have many events and activities organised for the final weeks of the year, with 11 exams, step up, Year 10 work experience, activities for the final week and the Awards Night. So, the school will remain busy as always and thank you to the staff that continue to provide these great opportunities for the students.

We will soon have a 2025 timetable and draft calendar completed please keep an eye out for these as they will help you and your children plan for 2025.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club continues to be popular each Wednesday and Friday. Dan’s special toasties are extremely popular. Thanks Dan!

This group enjoyed some finger knitting together while they ate.

Behaviour Matrix

Our focus this week and next is on resilience. As we begin to tire near the end of the year it is important that we remain resilient, by maintaining a growth mindset and remember to build and nurture relationships.

PV E-Conference 2024

Calmer community + calmer children = calmer classrooms!

Anxiety and stress can make it difficult to establish and maintain quality relationships. Those relationships are vital for families, communities and schools to function. We know that parents, teachers and students alike are experiencing and managing life pressures and challenges at any point in time. Young eyes are always watching how we act and react - how we role model impacts and influences how children and young people interact and behave at school. Some practical tips and support strategies can assist all of us on how to deal with anxiety and stress. We need everyone to be at their best. That’s why we’re bringing in Dr Jodi Richardson for our 2024 E-Conference.

Who is the E-Conference for?

  • Parents and carers
  • Teachers
  • School wellbeing staff
  • Anyone with an interest or connection to education/children and young people

The E-Conference is free and open to all (registration is essential).
