BOOK SWAP

Each term, our Grade 6 Cultural Leaders have held a book swap to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation who supply literacy resources to over 400 remote communities in the language of their choice.

We are so thankful for the support we have received at our previous book swaps this year and are excited to hold our final book swap of the year on the 12th of December. The Book Swap will open before and after school with plenty of books to choose from.

So clear out your bookshelves and bring along any books you no longer want or need with a gold coin donation and grab some new books to read over the summer holidays!

ITALIAN

Italian classes are needing some Christmas paper with pictures we can cut out and use on the children's work over the next few weeks. If anyone has any laying around or bits and pieces, please send with your child to school. 

TOY DONATIONS

We are asking for toy donations towards our St Vincent’s Christmas Appeal. This time of year can be very tricky for lots of families in our community and around the world. We ask that students purchase a gift for someone of a similar age to themselves and bring this into school over the coming weeks. All of these will be collected by Jill from St Vincent de Paul Eaglehawk and distributed to children in need. Please only donate if you can.  There will be a collection box in the Office.

COLOUR RUN

Thank you!! We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to all the participants for making our Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun a huge success. What an amazing effort, together we raised $5982. This money will go towards our Dogs Connect Program.

A big round of applause for McKenna Walker who raised the most money for our Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun 🙌 Thank you for raising a whopping $450 🤩 McKenna has now gone into the draw to win the Budget Booster Bonanza from @AustralianFundraising

1/2SD was the highest fundraising class with a total of $1477!! 1/2SW a close second on $879 and 1/2EW $681.

Your prizes are on their way, so make sure you keep an eye out 👀. To all Fundraising MonSTARS, congratulations and you will be receiving a Monty hatching egg, well done!
