This week, classes completed the remaining assessments to finish off the soccer unit. Throughout the unit, the students have developed fundamental movement skills and specific techniques.
The students were assessed at four stations: dribbling, passing, shooting, and trapping. Their assessment criteria were thesame criteria that they have been told to develop throughout the unit, including dribbling with both the insideand the outside of the foot, passing with the inside of the foot, taking a step back before shooting, andtrapping the ball with the inside of the foot.
Classes who had already finished their assessment were able toenjoy some extra time playing a round robin of mini soccer games against the other classes in their sports session.
