Term 2 Parent Teacher Interviews

• Year 7-12 telephone - Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday, May 14th (Week 3) from 4pm until 6pm.
• eCalrossy families will be contacted separately about arrangements for Parent Teacher Interviews.

Consent and Respect Seminars

On Tuesday this week our Years 7 – 9 students will be participating in Year level seminars on Consent and Respect during the school day. Dr Marshall Ballantine-Jones, owner of DigiHelp, https://digihelp.io/ has conducted Doctoral research in this area. Two years ago he conducted productive sessions with students and parents at Calrossy on Social media. This year’s seminars will support students in thinking in the topical areas of respect and consent. The sessions will challenge students to think meaningfully about healthy relationships in a thought-provoking, age-appropriate and considered manner. The 7 – 9 students will participate in Year groups with their own gender and the seminars are aligned to the NSW NESA Syllabus documents, supporting the PDHPE content at school.

For this visit of Dr Ballantine-Jones is unable to conduct a Parent Seminar but we hope that he will be able to return to do so later in 2024, also exploring the same concepts with students in Years 10 -12.
