PE & Sport: Cross Country

A number of students from Grade 3-6 competed in the Coburg District Cross Country event at the Coburg Athletics track on the 15th of May. It was a great day weather wise and all our students did a wonderful job representing our school and putting in their best running efforts.

There were approximately 12-15 schools in our district competing and the children needed to finish in the top 10 to qualify for the next round. The U10s had a 2 km run while the U11s & 12s had to run 3 kms.

Congratulations to Ethan White of 5/6C (6th) and Serine Assaad 5/6D (8th) who will now move on to the next District Final.

Ruby Seefeldt 5/6A (12th) & Bonnie Pressnell 5/6B (11th) qualified for emergencies. If any competitors are unable to attend on the day who finished in the top 10 in their race, then they may be selected to compete.
