What's been Happening on the PA?
The Parent Association has been very busy this term, organising a variety of events, activities and fundraisers.
Easter Raffle
The Easter Raffle was very popular with the students and we thank everyone who was able to donate Easter goodies for the baskets . We received lots of chocolate and raised $826.00 in total.
Special Food Days
Our first Special Food Day in Term 1 was Sushi and the students enjoyed it in the last week of the term. Thank you to Emily for organising this special treat for us all. We will let you know about our next Special Food Day (SFD) soon.
Class Reps
Our new class reps are doing a wonderful job and we are receiving very positive feedback about this additional form of communication, to send out reminders and to help organise school activities.
Mother's Day Stall
The Mother's Day Stall was another very successful activity last Friday. Special thanks to Victoria and Samantha for organising the gifts. Thank you to Jules for the gift bags and a huge thank-you to Zuleika for her time and effort making all of the special Mother's Day Biscuits for each student. We hope that you enjoyed all of your special gifts and treats. Thanks also to Anna and Jess for helping to sell all of the gifts on the day.
Bunnings BBQ - 30 November
We have been allocated the date of Saturday, 30 November, to run a St John's Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings this year. Please save the date and more details will follow later this year.
Mother’s Day Breakfast - 10 May
A huge thank you to Nick McKay for coordinating all of the fathers for the special breakfast last Friday. Thanks also to Rob for helping to buy the food and assisting on the day. It was wonderful to see them ably supported by so many willing fathers. THANK YOU ALL!
Grandparents Day and Special Friend Day
Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come along to the Grandparent and Special Friend Day. Special thanks to everyone who assisted with the Morning Tea, buying the food and helping to serve on the day also.
Bush Dance - 21 June
The Parent's Association will be running a raffle at the Family Bush Dance on Friday 21 June. If you are able to donate any prizes for the Raffle, please let us know.
Parents Major Fundraiser - Disco Bingo - Friday Evening, 9 August
On Friday 9 August, Parents and Friends are invited to a night of fun and entertainment with Dolly at her Disco Bingo Fundraiser. It will be a night of interactive entertainment.
