Staff Introductions

Deirdre Cosgrave

Hi , my name is Deirdre Cosgrave  and I am the Visual Arts teacher at St Johns. I have been involved in Catholic Education for many years in various roles from classroom teacher to leadership. I was lucky enough to start at St Johns as an art teacher in 2019 and have been fortunate enough to teach every child in the school. It has been extremely rewarding to see the students develop their creative side and flourish as artists.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, following the Demons and spending time at the beach.

Prue Forer

Hi, my name is Prue Forer and I am delighted to work as a Learning Support Officer at St John's, working with the Year 3/4 level. On the weekends I enjoy being outside in the fresh air, cooking and spending time with my family. I also love reading when I can in my spare time or on the holidays.

Melinda Buscema

Hello, I amd Melinda Buscema, the Deputy Principal at St John's School. I enjoy being with my family and cherish the moments we share traditional meals together as I love to cook when I have some spare time.  I love walking, dancing and spending time with our family dog Bella, who keeps us all entertained with her human-like personality. I love walks along the beach observing sunsets and going on car trips with friends to travel. Suduko and reading are a treat for helping me to relax and are part of my holiday routines.
