God's Love and Care for All

Term 2, Week 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a very busy week for our students and teachers with many off site curricula activities happening. Our Year 5’s attended Kolbe College on Wednesday where they were able to experience Secondary School life. Needless to say they all came back very excited. We thank Kolbe College for allowing this opportunity for our students.

Our Year 6 students had a wonderful day at Sovereign Hill yesterday. They stepped back in time to the 1850’s gold rush and further enhanced their knowledge about the Eureka Stockade. Unfortunately, no gold nuggets were found but they came home with lots of souvenirs. The lolly shop was very busy.

Today our school cross country team represented our school at the District Cross Country at Brimbank Park. Congratulations to all our athletes who completed the grueling 2 and 3 km runs, we are extremely proud of your efforts.

Students may have the opportunity to purchase a second gift, once all the students have purchased one (stock permitting).

Uniforms: It has been noticed that a number of students have not been wearing the correct uniform. I urge parents to support the school in adhering to our uniform expectations in ensuring students are wearing the correct uniform on the allocated days. No runners should be worn if it is not your child’s PE or class sports day.  In regards to jewellery, students are permitted to wear silver or gold studs or small sleepers and a thin necklace with a small cross. Watches are optional as per our policy, no smart watches are permitted.  Students who are out of uniform will be sent home an out of uniform note for parents to sign. Please see the attached document for further clarification regarding uniforms. Thank you for your support with this matter.
