Year 7

This April the Year 7 cohort has started many new topics including number and place value in Maths, a new novel study on "The Giver" in English, and we are learning the three states of matter in Science. We had cross country in late March and the top placed students went out to represent the school in the division cross country around Lilydale Lake, with many going on to represent the school at regionals. Outside of our Peer Support lessons in SELF, we have been looking at cyber-bullying and the impacts it has. Students are settling in very well to Term 2. This April has been a very productive month for Year 7's after having two weeks of holidays for Easter. We look forward to the upcoming inter-school sports in Term 2.
