Student Wellbeing

A focus on Mental Health

SMCM understands the importance of addressing mental health concerns in our students and their families. Seeking professional health can present with long wait lists and a significant cost. It is recommended that families speak to their local doctor about mental health concerns and consider the advice they receive and the opportunities available for support from health professionals.

Umeed Psychology has launched affordable counseling services tailored for children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds in the city of Whittlesea. At $30 per session, their mission is to break down barriers to mental health support and ensure that everyone in our community has access to the help they need. Sessions are available both in person and online.

The practice offers a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients manage a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD management, trauma, family, developmental identity, and stress-related issues.

Clinic Address: Suite 2/20 Scholar Drive, Bundoora, Victoria
