Maths Day

'Maths is the root of everything’

Join us as we celebrate Maths at Carnegie Primary School on Thursday 16th May. The theme of this Maths day will be how “MathS is the root of everything”, 

showing how maths isn't only maths but a lot more such as stem 

and science. This year, we will host engaging and fantastic experiments and quizzes like kahoots, and all related to maths.

We will be mixing classrooms to encourage cooperation and peer learning between year levels. Remember, be sure to wear your costume to school on Thursday, as there will be a competition for the best costume for each year level. Ideas for the costumes may include a calculator, a chess board or a shirt with equations on it.
