 Learning this week:

In Week 4, we are researching, interpreting and identifying the impacts of colonisation on culture, diversity, stereotypes and community. Our Key Concepts are perspective and causation.

In Reader’s and Writer’s workshop, classes are exploring information texts and their features, while developing skills during a spotlight session on note taking and summarising.

Mathematics: We are focusing on fractions with Year 3s learning about basic fractions and sharing amounts equally and Year 4s learning about equivalent fractions/ mixed fractions and decimals.

Christian Studies: Exploring decision making in the Bible; listening, communicating, prayer, influences, morals/ ethics through a range of Bible Stories and recognizing how our decisions impact interactions and relationships with others.
