Introducing Our New Entry and Exit Routines

At Kurunjang Secondary College, we are excited to introduce our new Entry and Exit Routines, designed to support a calm, structured start and end to every lesson. These routines help students transition smoothly into learning and leave classrooms respectfully, ensuring more time is dedicated to meaningful instruction. Clear, consistent routines also empower students to take responsibility for their behaviour and learning environment, aligning with our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework and our commitment to fostering a positive, safe and predictable school climate.

These routines are part of our broader implementation of Positive Classroom Management Strategy 2 (PCMS 2): Establishing and Teaching Expectations. By embedding clear expectations for entry and exit, we are supporting students to develop self-regulation, respect for others, and pride in their learning spaces. We encourage families to discuss these routines with their children and reinforce the importance of being prepared, attentive, and respectful at the beginning and end of every lesson.
