PBL Lunch with the Principal

On the last Wednesday of last term, our Term 1 PBL 'Roch Stars' enjoyed a special lunch of pancakes with Mrs Mastoras to acknowledge and thank them for their incredible efforts in showing respect, responsibility or resilience to their classmates and teachers throughout the term. They have been great role models for all students across our school!

Introducing our Wellbeing Space

We are delighted to showcase our new wellbeing space to support all students at St Roch's. It has long been our vision to have a dedicated and purpose designed space for students to use. Along with the wellbeing spaces in each classroom, this space will provide students with a designated place for mindfulness and calming activities, and social and emotional learning opportunities. Students will be able to use the Wellbeing space to reset and nurture their wellbeing.

Our aim is to create an inviting, safe and engaging physical space to help our students  navigate the busy school day.  We aim to support them in the development of self knowledge and self perception, social and sensory awareness, gratitude with oneself and others and an ability to bounce back from setbacks.

We thank Melissa Head-Wilson for her design input and advice in supporting us to create this wonderful space for our students.
