Parents, we need your help to ensure a smooth and organised school environment for our children. Please make sure your child's bag only has two tags: a name tag and a tag indicating home time arrangements. We have had instances of children taking other children's bag tags, and it's almost impossible to return them, especially without names.
Also, please do not allow your son or daughter to bring toys to school. If an item is brought in for "news," please ensure it has your child's name clearly marked on it.
Thank you for your understanding and support with these requests.
Congratulations to Molly and Sophie Schmude on their selection to the NSWPSSA U12s hockey team. The girls will travel to Bendigo for the National Titles in August.
Huge congratulations to our two Operation Art Competition winners: Isla Bournes (Infants - Year 2) and Eli Morris (Primary - Year 4)! Their fantastic artwork will now be sent to Sydney for the next stage of the competition. Good luck, Isla and Eli!
A big well done to all the students who received a Merit Award in their classes! Your impressive work has been entered into the NERAM & UNE Art Competition 'Let's Hang It'. We're so proud of your artistic talent!
P&F Art Auction Raises $1400!
A massive thank you and congratulations to our wonderful P&F for their incredibly successful art auction! Three beautiful pieces by Mrs. de Stoop, grandmother of James Graham (Year 6), were auctioned off, raising an amazing $1400 for the school.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Mrs. de Stoop for her generous donation of the artwork, and to Michael Clarke, Jane Graham, and the families who purchased pieces. Your support is invaluable!
And to the P&F, thank you also for catering such a lovely evening. It was a wonderful event!
Congratulations to Mr. Lester, staff, students, and parents on a fantastic and fun carnival!
A huge thank you to all the students for their wonderful participation, and a very special thanks to the parents for their amazing support with both the carnival and the canteen. Your collective efforts truly made the carnival a great day!

Thank you parents for ensuring your children were wearing their full Winter uniform for the Eisteddfod this week, it was very evident that we take pride in our presentation.
Maintaining a high uniform standards is an important part of our school's identity and plays a significant role in fostering a sense of pride and respect for our school.
Our uniform identifies St Mary's School within the community and develops a sense of school spirit and belonging within the student body. Some specific uniform requirements, such as shoes, hats, hair and jewellery, are directly related to student safety. The wearing of the correct school uniform is compulsory, and students are expected to arrive wearing it daily, ready to learn. Families are asked to ensure that each item of clothing is clearly labelled.
We thank you for your partnership in this important aspect of school life.
