Term 2 Inquiry Topic: What’s My Story?
As part of our current Inquiry unit, students have been asked to engage in a brief conversation with a parent or guardian about something they enjoyed doing as a baby - for example, playing a peek-a-boo. This personal reflection will support an upcoming writing activity in Week 5.
Reminders:
Royal Flying Doctors Incursion
On Wednesday 4th June, we are so excited to welcome the Royal Flying Doctors and their plane to our school. This incursion is part of Foundation students learning about our Community Helpers and also occupations.
The notice/payment is now available on Compass. It is a highlight for all of our Foundation students.
Volunteers needed!
As part of our current Inquiry unit, we are discussing different occupations. Are there any parents who would be interested in coming along to speak to the Foundation students about their job?
If you are interested, could you please contact your child's classroom teacher.
AFL Clinic
Last week the Foundation students had so much fun participating in a special AFL clinic.
Science Week at Vermont Primary School
From Monday 23rd to Friday 27th June, Vermont Primary School will be celebrating Science Week. The students will be involved in a range of activities throughout the week. Foundation students will be participating in a range of super fun 'Bubble activities!'
