Term 2 Inquiry Topic: What’s My Story?

As part of our current Inquiry unit, students have been asked to engage in a brief conversation with a parent or guardian about something they enjoyed doing as a baby - for example, playing a peek-a-boo. This personal reflection will support an upcoming writing activity in Week 5.

Reminders:

  • Family Tree: Please complete and return this template by Monday 19th May
  • Student photos: Please send along 1 x Baby, 1 x Family, 1 x Celebration, 1 x Personal Choice. Thank you to those families that have already sent these to their child's classroom teacher.

Royal Flying Doctors Incursion

On Wednesday 4th June, we are so excited to welcome the Royal Flying Doctors and their plane to our school. This incursion is part of Foundation students learning about our Community Helpers and also occupations.

The notice/payment is now available on Compass. It is a highlight for all of our Foundation students.

Volunteers needed!

As part of our current Inquiry unit, we are discussing different occupations. Are there any parents who would be interested in coming along to speak to the Foundation students about their job?

If you are interested, could you please contact your child's classroom teacher.

AFL Clinic

Last week the Foundation students had so much fun participating in a special AFL clinic.
