Congratulations Adam

Year 5 student Adam W is a talented athlete excelling in both gymnastics and karate.  His passion for these sports is evident in his strong commitment to regular training and continuous improvement.  Adam has had a busy couple of years in both sports and has achieved outstanding results.  He won a medal at this year’s Victorian State Karate competition held in March.  Adam also won Gold medals at the Victorian State Gymnastic Championships in 2023 and 2024.

This year, Adam has been selected in the Victorian State Karate team and will be representing Victoria at the National Karate Championships in Adelaide in July.  Adam has also qualified for this year’s Victorian State Gymnastics Championships in October.   As a school community we are incredibly proud of Adam’s achievements and we wish him the best of luck at his upcoming events.

AFL Clinics

All students at Vermont Primary School recently took part in AFL clinics run by SEDA. The sessions focused on developing key football skills including kicking, marking, and handballing. Through a series of fun and engaging games and activities, students enjoyed learning and practising their skills in a supportive and energetic environment. The clinics were a great success and provided a fantastic opportunity for all students to be active and involved in sport.  I would like to thank Andrew Browne from SEDA College for providing this opportunity for our students.
