Community Engagement

From our Multicultural Education Aide
Hi all,
It is such a wonderful opportunity for me to greet you in this way. My name is Hannah Awi, newly appointed as an MEA (Multicultural Education Aide) role for our Burmese and affiliated families at Croydon Special Developmental School. The main focus of my role includes ensuring EAL parents feel included in their children’s education at school, and assisting them to communicate with staff and teachers. Additionally, under the supervision and guidelines of classroom teachers, I assist EAL students to engage with activities provided by their teachers. I will be working Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 3:30pm. It is in my best interest to execute my given role effectively and responsibly. Thank you so much for the abundant love and warm welcome!
