Dear Karoo PS Community, 

What a wonderful and supportive community we have at Karoo PS!  I wanted to take a moment to thank and celebrate our Karoo Parents Association (KPA) and volunteers for all their support to make our school such a vibrant and engaging environment.

Karoo PS Election BBQ

On Saturday the 3rd of May, Karoo PS hosted an election BBQ for our community, as they cast their votes for the Federal election. The day was very busy and successful, with many customers purchasing their delicious 'democracy sausage.' Our sensational team of volunteers helped to raise over $1900 for our school due to all their efforts.

On behalf of our school community, I would like to express a HUGE thank you to our volunteers to make this possible!

Mother's and Other's Breakfast and Celebration

Today our school community celebrated our amazing Mother's and Other's with a special breakfast and morning activities in our classrooms.  We would like to thank all our guests who joined our incredible students to celebrate our mothers and mother figures.  We loved highlighting the significant role that women play in our students lives, and we are incredibly grateful for all the tireless efforts they do to make our world the best that it can be for us!

Our Mother's and Other's Day event could not have happened without the support of our Karoo Parents Association (KPA) and support team. Therefore, I would like to warmly thank our volunteers who coordinated and ran our 'Mother's and Other's' stall this week. The team find it a very rewarding role to have and always get a real happy kick out of seeing all the little faces carefully choosing their gifts for their special people.
