Greetings Karoo-ians,

This term in Media and Digital Technology, our Year 5 and 6 students are diving into the exciting world of filmmaking—and not just any kind of film. We're focusing on how to build suspense on screen!

From mysterious shadows, unknown sounds and sudden sounds, students are learning the tricks filmmakers use to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Students will be working in small production teams to plan, film, and edit their own short scenes before they move into their bigger film ideas.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to combine creativity with collaboration, and I can’t wait to see what eerie and exciting ideas they come up with.
