ANZAC Spirit  |  The Resilience Project

Our shortened week coming back from school holidays meant that only some classes had a scheduled Wellbeing session. To ensure continuity with lessons for the term across homegroups in Years 3-6, a stand-alone lesson was purposely planned and delivered to link with the commemoration of ANZAC Day.

In this lesson, students explored the connections between the key themes of The Resilience Project—gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness (GEM)—and the spirit embodied by ANZAC Day. Students completed 2 mindfulness drawing activities while reflecting on the importance of paying tribute to the ANZAC spirit while honouring the sacrifices that we all benefit from today.

Enjoy a selection of the pictures that were thoughtfully created by some of the students from 3/4 Amanda S, Brittany and Oscar, along with 5/6 Amanda B, Bree and Phoebe.
