Japanese News – Week 3
This week in Japanese, our Foundation students have been learning the names of colours. They’ve enjoyed singing songs and playing interactive games to practise their new vocabulary in a fun and memorable way.
In Years One and Two, students have been focusing on the months of the year. They’ve been learning to respond to the question "What month is your birthday?" in Japanese and are creating colourful calendars to highlight their birthday month.
Students in Years Three and Four have been learning how to express their likes and dislikes. Through various activities and conversations, they’ve been practising how to talk about their likes and dislikes in Japanese.
Meanwhile, our Year Five and Six students have been exploring the topic of spare time activities. They’ve learned how to describe what they do in their free time and have compared their own activities with those of students in Japan, gaining insights into cultural similarities and differences.
It’s been a fun and productive few weeks across all year levels!
