Last week we took part in the NSW All Schools Basketball competition at the PCYC in Wagga Wagga, with both our teams having a great carnival and making the grand final! 

Here’s the wrap up…

U16 Boys: DIVISION 1 CHAMPIONS

The boys showed incredible grit all day, culminating in a massive revenge win in the Grand Final!

The Round Games: Started strong with a 54–48 win over Trinity, stumbled slightly against Moama in the second game (39–48), but bounced back against Mater Dei (46–36).

The Grand Final: In a defensive masterclass from the boys and a dominant performance from Cooper, they flipped the script on Moama when it mattered most, taking the title with a 32–25 victory!

U16 Girls: DIVISION 1 RUNNERS-UP

Our girls played elite basketball from start to finish, showing skill and heart in every outing.

The Round Games: After a tough opening loss to Moama (25–37), the girls went on a tear, dominating Trinity (34–22) and Scots (41–18) to punch their ticket to the final.

The Grand Final: They fought until the very end in a physical rematch against Moama, finishing as the runners up with a 20–31 result.
