ENSEMBLE REHEARSALS

LARGE ENSEMBLE rehearsals commence in Week 3:

• SECOUNDA – Monday 9 February – 7:40am-8:30am – Arts Hall
• STRINGS – Monday 9 February – 12:55pm-1:30pm – Arts Hall
• JAZZ BAND – Tuesday 10 February – 7:40am-8:30am – Arts Hall
• PRIMA – Wednesday 11 February – 7:40am-8:30am – Arts Hall

For returning students, please note carefully the change in rehearsal days of Prima and Secounda.

SMALL ENSEMBLE

• Rehearsals commence in Week 4. Please see below for relevant days, times and locations
• If you are unsure whether you are part of a small ensemble, please chat with your teacher during your lessons.

Upcoming Sporting Trials – Student Information

A range of school sport trials are taking place over the coming weeks. Students who are interested in nominating must see Mr Tuckey in the Q-Block staffroom to discuss the trial process and collect the required paperwork. Students will not be permitted to attend trials without approved nomination forms.

• Tue 10 Feb – Under 15 Boys Football (Riverside Rays) Nominations due Fri 6 Feb
• Thu 12 Feb – 13–19 Years Softball (Met East) Nominations due Fri 6 Feb
• Thu 19 Feb – 10–12 Years Swimming (Riverside Rays) Nominations due Wed 12 Feb
• Tue 24 Feb – 13–14 Years Boys AFL (Riverside Rays) Nominations due Tue 24 Feb
• Fri 27 Feb – 13–16 Years Basketball (Met East)

• Tue 3 Mar – 10–19 Years Boys and Girls Swimming (Met East) Nominations due Wed 12 Feb 

   

Please be aware only paper nominations will be accepted. Students are encouraged to nominate early to avoid missing deadlines.

First Nations Chef Incursion

Tuesday 18 February

On Tuesday 18 February, students will take part in a special incursion with First Nations chef Chris Jordan. 

This experience will provide students with the opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture, storytelling, and food, while gaining insight into the significance of native ingredients and their connection to Country. 

The session will celebrate culture, creativity, and the sharing of knowledge through food.
