Welcome Back

A huge welcome back to everyone. I hope the holidays were a bit restful and that everyone is a little recharged.

A very special welcome to our new prep students and parents. Hopefully you will all enjoy your time in our Rollins community. Please feel free to contact us anytime and we will support you in any manner we can as you merge into our school community.

Canteen

As yet, we have not secured a new canteen manager since Debbie retired last year. We will continue to investigate all possibilities. Icy poles will be on sale every day for $1 with all proceeds going to the upkeep of the school grounds.

Assembly

Our first school assembly will be held this Friday 6th February in the Multi-Purpose room at 3:00pm. We will be presenting Class Captains badges at this assembly. Congratulations to all our elected leaders. Everyone welcome to attend.

School Council Elections

We have a few parents whose term of office will be expiring in 2026. I would like to sincerely thank both Alison Smith and Jhana Pfeiffer- Hunt who have so kindly volunteered their personal time to assist our school community. With all the family commitment demands on parents these days it is an added extra for these parents to devote time to assisting us. Many thanks for all your support.

We will be seeking expressions of interest for the vacant parent positions. The positions entail a 2-year commitment. There will be nomination reminders posted around the school if you are interested in serving on the Rollins School Council. Nominations close on 12/2/26 at 4pm. Please contact the office for the various nomination forms. If the number of applications exceeds the number of positions we will hold an election.
