School Strategic Plan (SSP) & Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) 2026

The snapshot and SSP document attached outlines our work for improving student outcomes over the next four years.

The AIP documents the annual plan for school improvement priorities and provides purpose for all members of the school community as they work towards the goals set out in the four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP).

I am pleased to announce that our new School Performance Group of has been published from the Department of Education. This is held of high importance within the Department.

The School Performance Groups have been simplified and allocate schools to one of four different performance categories, High, Improving, Medium and Developing. School performance in the two domains, learning and wellbeing.

Our overall school performance group is now categorised as: HIGH.

In the HIGH performance group, student outcomes are high across a range of

learning and wellbeing measures. This is heavily influenced by the opinion of our students in the annual Attitudes to School Survey.

This data is now based solely upon student's views of how the school is performing against key wellbeing measures. These are compared to both mainstream and specialist schools. Unfortunately specialist schools are not given a group for learning domains and measures.

Thank you to all of you for your ongoing commitment and dedication to making our school a leading school within the state.

Performance and Development Plans (PDP) 2026 - Goal Setting

As a school, for the performance and development process in 2026, we will continue to use the state-wide alternative Statement of Expectation instead the standard Performance and Development Plan (PDP) process. Staff or reviewers are not required to complete any routine documentation or monitoring in eduPay.  However as a network, the Statement of Expectation word template is now greater aligned to the pervious process.

The 2025 Statement of Expectation for teacher class employees is aligned to the key improvement strategies of learning and wellbeing in the AIP. Teacher class employees are encouraged to consider how they contribute to these areas as appropriate to their role and setting. Further information about the Statement of Expectation will be provided early Term 1 as the state-wide goals have not yet been released.

PDPs in 2025 will continue to be completed in teams for teachers and ESS. Staff with other positions of responsibility will have a 1:1 PDP with your line manager.

With the Statement of Expectation, it is expected that Department employees:

  • will contribute to the AIP (Learning and Wellbeing goals) as appropriate to their role and setting.

  • will act with integrity and in accordance with the School’s and Department’s Values.

These goals can be modified for Education Support Staff who are out of classroom-based roles.

Staff Norms & Protocols

We refined norms and protocols developed by PLTs to develop school-wide staff expectations. These values and expectations apply at all times but are particularly relevant during meetings and professional interactions between staff.
