Australian Defence Force Long Tan Leadership & Teamwork Awards

Our first recipient of a Long Tan Award is a student who has demonstrated leadership across all areas of the school. They have been Edenhope College’s Country Education Partnership (CEP) Rural Youth Ambassador for 2025 and have represented the school with pride. They have been involved in numerous school and community events and our recipient is a student who is always willing to help others, showing initiative in her involvement in all aspects of school life. This student encourages those around her to achieve their best, cooperates with others, communicates effectively and is always a team player. The winner of the Year 10 Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award for 2025 is Isabel Bourne

Year 12 Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award

The second of these awards is presented to a student in Year 12 who has demonstrated unwavering leadership both within and outside of the school community. This student is always encouraging towards others, takes the lead and shows initiative to involve others. She may initially seem quiet, but she is passionate about what she believes in, upholds values to a high standard and is a role model for others. She listens to others and considers her responses before giving respectful and valued opinions to enhance the school. This student was also Edenhope College’s Vice Captain for 2025 and is a very worthy recipient.
